Lorraine's Legacy
Inspiring Impactful Change
In January 2013, a blind senior dog named Charlotte was featured on the news. We immediately went to CCHS to fill out an application, got approved, and renamed her Lorraine after Lorraine Warren. For 3 years she lived her best life. We took her everywhere. For 3 summers she was a Walker Stalker down In Senoia GA watching the stars of the show The Walking Dead film. She got to walk where the Lizardman roamed in SC and go where the Mothman flew in Point Pleasant WV. We made sure she was living her best life. She was our heart and almost 3 years to the day we had to help her cross the Rainbow Bridge.
We were heartbroken and decided to honor her memory by starting a rescue to help seniors, medicals, and hospice animals. Our original goal was to help seniors stay in their homes by helping with food and medical but life had other plans and we started a foster program to help get animals the medical care they needed and adopted into loving homes.
Here at Lorraine's Legacy our goal is to mend broken bones and broken promises. We are also striving to keep animals out of shelter by helping them stay in loving homes through food and medical outreach program.
